Database query manipulation via unescaped phone value
Published Apr 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 8, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Prison Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to query the database via a crafted phone value. The /Admin/edit_profile.php handler interpolates the POST txtphone value into an UPDATE statement without filtering or a prepared parameter. An administrator session is required, and the demonstrated time-based blind payload retrieves the database account through response delays.
