Signal spoofing in Siemens SINEC OS before 3.1 and S7-1500 MFP firmware 3.1.5 and later allows local users to alter client behavior. GDBusConnection signal matching accepts messages claiming a well-known sender without confirming the sender's unique bus name. Exploitation requires access to the same shared system bus; integrity loss or service interruption depends on the client consuming the spoofed signal.
