Unauthenticated protected-post disclosure via unchecked identifier
Published May 6, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Authorization bypass in SEOPress 7.7.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to read password-protected post excerpts and content. The affected metadata output path accepts a user-controlled post identifier and returns the selected post excerpt or content without enforcing its password. No account or user interaction is required; exposure is limited to protected post data selected by the supplied identifier.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
