Unauthenticated SQL injection via raw login query
Published Apr 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 8, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Prison Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read and modify database data through the admin login. The /Admin/login.php handler concatenates POST-supplied txtusername and txtpassword values directly into a SELECT statement before passing it to mysqli_query. No authentication or user interaction is required; crafted username input supports time-based queries and access as the database account.
