CVE-2024-34365Network attack vector

Unauthenticated SSRF and arbitrary file access

Published May 9, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Improper input validation in all Apache Karaf Cave versions allows remote attackers to read local files or issue server-side requests. Apache has not published which Cave component or input fails validation before it performs the server-side request or filesystem access. No authentication or user interaction is required; a reachable Cave repository service can be induced to access internal URLs and server files.
