CVE-2024-34336Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Account enumeration via password-reset response differences

Published Sep 12, 2024 · Updated Jul 5, 2026

User enumeration in ORDAT FOSS-Online before 2.24.01 allows remote attackers to identify valid accounts through password-reset responses. The forgot-password handler returns one message when both fields are unknown and another when the username exists but the email is wrong. No authentication or user interaction is required; disclosure is limited to whether a submitted username is registered, enabling targeted account attacks.
