Database disclosure via unvalidated password-reset username
Published Sep 12, 2024 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
SQL injection in ORDAT FOSS-Online before 2.24.01 allows remote attackers to read database data through the password-reset endpoint. The /oronline/kontakt/PasswortVergessen.jsp handler inserts the userName parameter into a database query without validation or filtering. No authentication or user interaction is required; the published proof reads the Oracle database version, and the assessed impact is database confidentiality loss.
