Script execution via unencoded registration errors
Published Apr 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 19, 2024
Reflected XSS in PuneethReddyHC Event Management 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script via crafted registration fields. The backend/register.php handler embeds rejected full_name, email, and mobile values directly into HTML alert responses without output encoding. Exploitation requires a victim to submit attacker-controlled registration values; resulting script executes only in that victim's browser context.
