Session compromise via unsanitized jail-server messages

DOM-based XSS in Virtual Programming Lab 4.2.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to run script in a victim's Moodle session. The vplide.js run:browser handler concatenates an untrusted path from a jail-server WebSocket message into anchor HTML without sanitization. Exploitation requires a victim to use VPL through an attacker-controlled jail server; script runs with the victim's Moodle privileges, including administrative access for an administrator.
