Reflected XSS via unescaped edit.php id parameter
Published Apr 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected XSS in edit.php in SourceCodester Online Courseware 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through the id parameter. The page reflects the id value into its response without neutralizing markup, so a payload can close the existing script context and add a new script element. Exploitation requires another user to open the crafted URL, and the injected code executes in that user's browser context.
