Browser script execution via reflected id parameter
Published Apr 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Online Courseware 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The editt.php page reflects the id query parameter into its response without neutralizing a crafted closing tag and injected script element. Access requires an authenticated session, and exploitation requires another user to open the crafted request; the script then runs in that user's page context.
