Unauthenticated command execution via apcliEncrypType injection
Published May 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Command injection in TOTOLINK EX1800T firmware 9.1.0cu.2112_B20220316 allows remote attackers to execute commands without authentication. The setWiFiExtenderConfig handler in cstecgi.cgi formats apcliEncrypType into a value passed to CsteSystem without neutralizing shell syntax. A network-reachable management interface accepts an empty token, and successful exploitation runs commands with device-administrator privileges.
