Stored script execution via record-field filter bypass
Published May 21, 2024 · Updated Oct 15, 2025
Stored XSS in QDOCS Smart School 7.0.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a user's browser through crafted record fields. The /admin/feediscount/edit name and /admin/birthordeath/update_birth father_name fields accept a details/ontoggle payload that bypasses filtering and persists. The disclosed demonstration used an administrator session, and the payload runs when another user opens the modified fee-discount or birth record.
