Unauthenticated SQL execution via unsanitized visitor ID
Published May 13, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
SQL injection in Oretnom23 Visitor Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through the id parameter. The manage_visitor page incorporates the id query-string value into a SQLite statement without neutralizing SQL syntax, as demonstrated by true and false Boolean conditions. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful requests can read or alter application database data by executing attacker-supplied SQL.
