Unauthenticated command execution via unchecked update filename
Published May 9, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
OS command injection in TOTOLINK CP450 4.1.0cu.747_B20191224 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via HTTP requests. The CloudACMunualUpdate handler assigns the FileName parameter to v31 without validation and passes it directly to the system function. CISA assesses the endpoint as requiring neither authentication nor user interaction, so a crafted request can alter device data or interrupt service.
