CVE-2024-34207Public exploit

Code execution via unchecked DHCP comment copy

Published May 9, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in TOTOLINK CP450 4.1.0cu.747_B20191224 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The setStaticDhcpConfig handler copies an unchecked comment parameter into the v9 stack buffer with strcpy. The CGI endpoint is adjacent-network reachable; the published request carries a session cookie, while CISA assesses no privileges, and exploitation can also crash the appliance.
