CVE-2024-34166Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via unsanitized ACL entries

Published Jan 14, 2025 · Updated Jan 14, 2025

OS command injection in Wavlink AC3000 firmware M33A8.V5030.210505 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via HTTP. The unauthenticated touchlist_sync.cgi handler inserts the IP parameter into a curl command, then passes semicolon-delimited fields from the attacker-controlled response into an iwpriv shell command without validation. Network access alone reaches the CGI because it omits the session-cookie check, enabling command execution with the router service's privileges.
