Repository disclosure via missing SSH permission check
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Missing authorization in Jenkins Git server Plugin 114.v068a_c7cc2574 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read repositories over SSH. The plugin's SSH repository access path accepts a previously configured public key but omits the Overall/Read permission check before serving repository contents. Exploitation requires a previously configured SSH public key and the path of a repository exposed by a consuming plugin; access is limited to reading that repository.
