Memory disclosure via out-of-bounds file read
Published Aug 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 14, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Illustrator 28.5 and 27.9.4 and earlier allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory through a malicious file. Adobe has not identified the affected parser or file format; processing the crafted file reads beyond an intended memory boundary. A victim must open the file, and the disclosure can expose memory useful for bypassing ASLR without reported data modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
