Sensitive-memory disclosure via out-of-bounds read
Published Aug 14, 2024 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Illustrator 28.5, 27.9.4 and earlier allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected file parser or the bounds-checking error that causes the read beyond allocated memory. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted file, exposing process memory and enabling ASLR bypass without reported data modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
