Phishing via unchecked post-login redirect host
Published May 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Open redirect in Frappe Framework 14.73.0 and earlier and 15.0.0 through 15.25.0 allows remote attackers to redirect users off-site. The login page reads the redirect-to query parameter and passes absolute URLs through without comparing their host with the request host. No attacker authentication is required, but a user must follow the crafted login link and complete login before the external redirect enables phishing.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
