Prayer deletion via missing nonce validation
Published May 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Go Prayer WP Prayer 2.0.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete prayer requests. The wpe_manage_prayer page processes a deletion request without validating a WordPress nonce, letting a forged request invoke the destructive action. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link or otherwise submit the crafted request, and the resulting action deletes selected prayer data.
