Remote client crashes via unchecked MMS messages

Buffer overflow in Triangle MicroWorks IEC 61850 Client Source Code Library before 12.2.0 allows remote attackers to crash clients via MMS messages. The message-processing path copies received data without checking that the destination buffer is large enough. No authentication or user interaction is required; a crafted MMS message can terminate an application that embeds the affected client library, interrupting its IEC 61850 service.
