Browser script execution via unneutralized view parameter
Published Aug 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 8, 2024
Reflected XSS in Janobe School Event Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a victim's browser through a crafted view value. The /student/index.php endpoint returns the untrusted view parameter in HTML without sufficient output neutralization. A victim must open the crafted request; the resulting script can read page data, alter displayed content, or interrupt the browser session.
