CVE-2024-33991Network attack vector

Data exposure via view parameter cross-site scripting

Published Aug 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 6, 2024

Cross-site scripting in Janobe School Event Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to expose application data via a crafted request. Public records identify the view parameter in /eventwinner/index.php as the injection point but do not disclose its output context or the missing encoding operation. The request is network-reachable without authentication, but a victim must interact with the resulting content before injected script can execute in the application's browser context.
