Session-cookie theft via reflected report parameters
Published Aug 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Reflected XSS in Janobe School Attendance Monitoring System and School Event Management System 1.0 allows attackers to steal session cookies. The attendance_print.php endpoint inserts attacker-controlled Attendance, attenddate, and YearLevel parameter values into its response without safe output handling. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted URL, after which injected script runs in the application origin and exposes the victim's session cookie.
