Session-cookie theft via reflected start parameter
Published Aug 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 7, 2024
Reflected XSS in Janobe payment products 1.0 allows remote attackers to steal session cookies through a crafted start parameter URL. The admin/mod_reports/index.php endpoint places the start parameter into generated page content without neutralizing executable markup. A victim must open the link; the injected script then runs in the payment application's origin and exposes that victim's session cookie.
