Unauthenticated database disclosure via username SQL injection
Published Aug 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 7, 2024
SQL injection in Janobe School Attendance Monitoring System and School Event Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data. The /login.php handler incorporates the username parameter from an unauthenticated login request into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax. A crafted username reaches the network-exposed login path without authentication or user interaction, and the documented consequence is disclosure of stored information.
