Unauthenticated vote manipulation via trusted cookie
Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in Kama Democracy Poll 6.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to subtract votes through a public request. The public delVoted action trusts a user-controlled cookie when subtracting votes, and its SQL does not limit answers to the current poll. No authentication is required, and successful requests alter recorded poll totals without exposing data or interrupting service.
