Contributor-level stored script execution
Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in MachoThemes CPO Companion 1.1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. Patchstack has not disclosed the vulnerable field, handler, or missing output-encoding operation that persists attacker-controlled input. Contributor-level access and another user's visit are required; the payload then runs in that visitor's browser and can alter rendered page content.
