Private-post disclosure via unchecked duplication capability
Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in Exclusive Addons for Elementor 2.6.9.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to duplicate private posts. The duplicate_post() function does not sufficiently check the requester's capability before cloning a post owned by another user. Contributor-level access is sufficient to copy another user's private post and expose its contents.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
