Password disclosure via recoverable process-memory strings

Information disclosure in KeePassXC 2.7.7 allows local users with victim-level privileges to recover passwords from process memory. While an unlocked database is in use, Qt-held UTF-16 password strings remain recoverable from a KeePassXC memory dump; residual recovery was also reported after locking or closing. Process-memory access is required, and the vendor disputes the issue because it considers plaintext working memory unavoidable under the current design.
