Firewall reboot via null pointer dereference

Improper packet validation in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS allows remote attackers to reboot PA-5400 and PA-7000 hardware firewalls. The packet-processing path dereferences a null pointer while handling untrusted network input, although the responsible protocol field and code locus are undisclosed. Only those hardware series with GTP Security disabled are exposed; repeated packets force maintenance mode and require manual recovery.
