CVE-2024-33844Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Controller link interruption via unchecked mission type

Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Jul 9, 2026

Denial of service in Parrot ANAFI USA firmware 1.10.4 allows remote attackers to sever the controller-to-drone link over Wi-Fi. The mavlink_itf_reset_mission_data function accepts an invalid MAV_MISSION_TYPE in a MAVLink MISSION_COUNT payload and frees zero-filled memory addresses, crashing the control process. The attacker must already be connected to the drone's WPA2-protected Wi-Fi network while the drone is piloted through MAVLink; the resulting crash interrupts control connectivity.
