Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Jun 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in JA Modules JA Marketplace Professional 9.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute uploaded PHP files. The version 6.x JmarketplaceproductModuleFrontController::init() and version 8.x JmarketplaceSellerproductModuleFrontController::init() methods accept .php uploads without rejecting the dangerous file type. Guest access is sufficient to place executable PHP in the PrestaShop context, enabling arbitrary code execution, data modification, or service interruption.
