Stored script execution via unescaped system name
Published Apr 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Computer Laboratory Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The update_settings handler stores a crafted name value, and admin/system_info/index.php echoes it into an input value without HTML escaping. Missing post-redirect termination leaves the update reachable without authentication, while execution requires an administrator to load the affected page.
