CVE-2024-33766Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Application crash via crafted SVG stroke rendering

Published May 1, 2024 · Updated Dec 4, 2024

Divide-by-zero in LunaSVG 2.3.9 allows attackers to crash applications that render a specially crafted SVG image. During stroke rendering, blend_transformed_tiled_argb raises a floating-point exception while processing the supplied SVG; the public report does not identify the unchecked divisor. Any application that passes attacker-controlled SVG content to the library can terminate when the failing rendering path is reached.
