CVE-2024-33687Network attack vector

Undetected user-program tampering via insufficient authenticity checks

Published Jun 24, 2024 · Updated Mar 13, 2025

Insufficient authenticity verification in all OMRON NJ/NX CPU Units allows remote attackers to conceal user-program tampering. OMRON has not disclosed which integrity check accepts altered program data or how the validation fails. Network access to a controller is required, and successful exploitation leaves unauthorized control logic in place without detection.
