Stored XSS via unauthorized preview update
Published Apr 29, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Save as PDF Plugin by PDFCrowd 3.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into its button preview. Public records identify the button preview in the plugin settings as the affected locus, but they do not disclose the missing authorization check or the input flow that stores the script. Subscriber access and interaction by a second, privileged user are required; successful exploitation runs the stored script in that user's browser context.
