Published May 20, 2024 · Updated Mar 14, 2025
Stored XSS in All in One SEO before 4.6.1.1 allows remote authenticated users with Contributor access to execute scripts. The Meta Description post field accepts HTML event-handler markup and renders it without validation or output escaping when the post is reopened. A Contributor can save the payload in a draft or review submission, and the script runs in the browser of a later editor, including an administrator.
