CVE-2024-33670Network attack vector

Error-page defacement via unfiltered URL input

Published Apr 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

HTML injection in Passbolt API 4.6.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter error-page content through a crafted URL. A pagination error can incorporate user-controlled URL input, and the error template places that unfiltered message in the page title. A victim must visit the crafted URL; default CSP blocks JavaScript, limiting the effect to error-page appearance and interaction.
