High-privilege local SMM code execution

Improper input validation in the BiosGuard module of AMI Aptio V BKS_5.0 through BKS_5.38 allows local users to execute SMM code. AMI has not published the input, code path, or validation operation that permits arbitrary memory overwrite. Exploitation requires high local privileges and can overwrite arbitrary memory, execute at SMM level, and compromise host data or interrupt operation.
