Memory-bounds violation in AMI Aptio V BKS_5.0 through BKS_5.37 allows local users to escalate privileges through BIOS access. AMI identifies the affected locus only as the BIOS and has not disclosed the buffer, operation, or input that crosses its bounds. Exploitation requires low privileges, local access, and passive user interaction, and successful exploitation can execute arbitrary code and alter firmware integrity.
