Unauthorized slider changes via forged admin requests
Published Apr 26, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Cryout Creations Serious Slider 1.2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter slider data. The vendor identifies sample-slider generation and slider-option fields as the affected loci, but does not disclose the request handlers or nature of the anti-CSRF validation failure. Exploitation requires a privileged WordPress user to visit or submit attacker-controlled content, causing unwanted changes under that user's session.
