Database disclosure via borrowed-book filter SQL injection
Published Apr 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Library System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read MySQL data via crafted filter inputs. The admin/borrowed/index.php filter handler passes crafted Author and BookTitle POST values to a MySQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax. An administrative login is required; the demonstrated boolean-, error-, time-, and UNION-based queries expose database contents and manipulate query execution.
