Authenticated database access via raw category interpolation
Published Apr 6, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Online Library System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to access database data via a crafted category value. admin/books/deweydecimal.php inserts the category POST value directly into a quoted SELECT statement without parameter binding or escaping. An authenticated administrative session can submit boolean-, error-, time-, or UNION-based payloads to query data beyond the intended category lookup.
