Session-context script execution via reflected input
Published May 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in the F5 BIG-IP Configuration utility allows remote attackers to run JavaScript in a logged-in user's browser. F5 has not published the vulnerable page or request value that the utility reflects without adequate neutralization. Exploitation requires user interaction and an active utility session, and the script can read or alter data available to that session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=15.1.0 <15.1.10.4
- Affected versionversion=16.1.0 <16.1.4.3
