Sensitive file disclosure via packages parameter traversal
Published Aug 12, 2024 · Updated Mar 19, 2025
Local file inclusion in Zimbra Collaboration 9.0 and 10.0 allows remote attackers to read restricted local files through the packages parameter. The zimbraAdmin interface accepts the unauthenticated packages value as a local-file selection without adequately restricting which file is included. No account or user interaction is required, but file access remains confined to a specific server directory and the documented impact is disclosure only.
