CVE-2024-33515Network attack vector

Service interruption via AP Management buffer overflow

Published May 1, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Denial of service in HPE Aruba Networking ArubaOS and EdgeConnect SD-WAN allows remote attackers to interrupt AP Management via PAPI. HPE identifies a stack-based buffer overflow in the AP Management service but has not disclosed the affected routine or malformed field. The service accepts unauthenticated network traffic, and exploitation interrupts only the affected service without reported data access or modification.
