Improper privilege management in affected Siemens Mendix Runtime 9 and 10 releases allows remote authenticated users to elevate role access rights. Siemens identifies the Runtime's role-access update path and a guessed identifier for a more privileged target role, but does not disclose the responsible request handler or exact missing authorization check. Exploitation requires role-management capability and knowledge of a target role identifier, and it can expose or alter data available to that role.
